This week’s playlist is all about feel-good vibes of Italo Disco. Some of the first parties I was able to attend the DJ’s were mixing new tracks alongside classic Italo jams and to this day they were some of the best parties I’ve ever attended.

If you’re already into it – lots of classics here. If you’re wondering what it’s all about, Italo is Disco sub-genre with roots in (you guessed it) Italy. Most of the prime cuts came out in the 70’s & 80’s but there are plenty of exceptions – heavy synths, lots of drum machines, & plenty of vocoder. Undeniably cheesy but that’s part of the magic. – JF
